With the recent passing of the FOSTA-SESTA bill, the escort/companion industry has been in an uproar with many escorts taking to twitter and voicing their concerns in the spirit of anger, fear, panic, and confusion. I’ve been getting a lot of questions from my wonderful gentlemen friends, also panicking, wondering if the rules have changed and whether there will now be legal complications if one arranges to spend some time with an elite escort and companion like myself. I actually talk about this in detail on Episode 5 of my PODCAST but I decided as well to blog about it for the gentlemen who do not have the time nor luxury to listen.

It is understood worldwide that an escort is not a prostitute. The confusion of the two can interrupt the enjoyment of many a consenting adult. So let’s define the two terms (taken from an article written by Criminal Attorney James Davis of Jacksonville, FL).

– A prostitute is someone that has sex for money plain and simple. Some type of sexual favor will need to be provided, and the prostitute will require money for those services. The person generally just pays for the services rendered nothing more nothing less. Most prostitution agreements are for a very short period of time. They are not generally booked for extended time periods.

– An escort is completely different. An escort is hired for an extended period of time such as several hours and even days. An escort is expected to be attractive and presentable in public. They are often used to stand-in as a date for specific functions or entertainment for an evening. Escorts are paid for their time and their company and sexual favors are not included as part of their package.

An escort is a beautiful woman offering her time and companionship to a refined gentleman for dinner, conversation, and travel. Escort services in the USA are perfectly legal, and there are much lower chances of ladies being abused, as she is in full control of how she spends her time with people. Escorts (especially elite escorts) define their experience clearly so that there is no confusion nor possibility of legal complications. They are also sophisticated, educated women who are contributing members to society. Like any mature adult, an escort is free to interact as she wishes with her dates.  Just as you might pay a singer for her time, and she entertains you with her various performance skills, so an elegant escort is paid for her time, and entertains you with her intelligence, conversation, and whatever else she chooses to bring to the engagement.

One of the main differences between a prostitute and an escort is that it is legal to be an escort. It is not legal to be a prostitute.
