Every year thousands of people from all over the world flock to warm and sunny Miami to experience the holy grail that is Art Basel. There are about 85 events in a three day span and anyone who’s anyone is out attending various events, looking to be seen. This year, Art Basel is from December 5-8. As an art lover, this is always an exciting time for me because I get to immerse myself in art for 3 days, while simultaneously attending different parties and having a fabulous time with friends. I enjoy meeting and talking with the different artists because their perspective and views about life can be refreshing and also make you think. I’m especially excited this year because a colleague of mine is going to be exhibiting her pieces and I am going to support her.
